In a fast, unpredictable world, the body is a place of clarity and steadiness.
I’ve always been a very active person. From an early age, I tried just about every sport I could: gymnastics, vaulting, football, tennis. I was always curious to move, explore, and challenge myself. As I grew older, I became fascinated by how movement can transform not only the body but also the mind. Discovering yoga opened a completely new world for me. It taught me the importance of movement, breath, and the deep connection between physical strength and mental well-being. When I discovered Lagree, I found another practice that shared many of those same values, but in its own unique way. It brings together everything I love about movement: strength, alignment, slow and controlled movements, focus, challenge, and presence.
I grew up in Zurich and also spent some time living in Barcelona (where I discovered that salsa is not my hidden talent). I work as a journalist and teach Yoga and Lagree – two fields that might seem very different at first. But for me, they are connected by the same curiosity: looking closer, noticing the details, and understanding what lies beneath the surface. Over the years, I’ve completed different trainings, and I’m still hungry to learn more about movement, alignment, anatomy, and the connection between the mind and body.
We spend so much time in our heads – thinking, planning, worrying. Movement gives us the chance to reconnect with our bodies, quiet the noise for a while, and build confidence by challenging ourselves and facing our fears. That’s what inspires me as a coach: I love creating a space where people can push their own limits, discover their strength, and realise that they are often capable of much more than they imagined. Seeing someone leave class feeling stronger, happier, and more confident is one of the most rewarding parts of coaching.
Empowering. Supportive. Fiery. My classes focus on alignment and challenging yourself in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming. As we work on the physical body, I love weaving in moments of philosophy, positive thinking, and humor to nourish the mind and soul.
I love singing, dancing, and being surrounded by nature. Hiking, fresh air, and beautiful views are some of my favorite ways to recharge. I can happily spend hours reading, reflecting, or getting lost in deep conversations about the big questions and mysteries of life.
Fun Fact: I have a wiiiildly eclectic taste in music. Expect the unexpected.
I speak German, English and Spanish.
